a poem from my yet to be published book...

The dancing loaves and forgetful Jones
forever he said as the wandering goose laid its head
whatever this meant, through the ages, loaves danced
forgetful Jones stuttered through high school. Is that you?
mission to arms for the watery grave slave home
the aged beckon with eardrums and spectacles alike
this is a peaceful time for their motors have ceased
the doctor spoke and said “take two of these & then
see me in the morning”.
