This is where my soul lives!
Some Aussies live for the surf
Some for the tropics so lush
Some for the red center turf
and some for the scraggly bush
But I live for the High Country
the wide open plains in the sky
where nature tests you hourly
and no one need ask you why
For up there on the High Plains
it is heaven on earth
beauty bliss and tranquility reins
and you’re free to show your worth
So leave the ugly worries behind
and rise up to the land that’s free
where you can clear your mind
and do nothing more than just be!
