Amazing the way style goes around! I wonder if the next gen of kids want everything neat as a pin & no second hand clothes again! – I’ll let you know when mine tell me! lol

My sister sang it to me all day long!
New clothes were always bought for her
Smugly she’d show me parading to stir
But I being younger was dressed for free
nothing but her hand me downs for me
I hated how they smelt were stretched and faded
Oh how I coveted new things with eyes jaded
Then one day I came to realize
that in my hand me downs I was actually stylized
Faded and torn was all the rage
Op shops and hand me downs and things badly aged
so I then paraded in my second hand clothes
and my sister in her brand new coveted my rose!

So very true; I have a friend who has two little girls who will only wear hand me downs; but they still always look smart; and so sweet they always look too;
