The only time I really enjoy the shore is climbing on the rocks at sunset or dawn.

swirling cloud
colours so dramatic
so courageous so proud
turbulent sea
crashing aloud
and the sun slinks slowly away
The forming shapes
are mighty and grand
carved by the artists
skillful hand
polished over eons
by water and sand
with incessant winds sweeping away
And where will it finish
when will it end
forever ongoing
or just round the bend
and who carves it now
foe or friend
watch as it crumbles away
