~ Seeing Hoar Frost ~

The awesome Ms Jan Piller captured this stunning shot of the pre dawn “Hoar Frost” on the trees near her home when out walking very early.
I borrowed her title Only a bird, that’s all I heard as my first line as the words flowed on from there.

Chookas! ♥

~ Seeing Hoar Frost ~ belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Live, Love, Dream and The Patchwork

Only a bird, that’s all I heard
The whispering hush of the stream’s frozen rush
The softness of all beneath the snow fall
And the calm of the early morn

Do I feel peaceful do I feel pain
Will I walk on again and again
Would you come with me and keep me warm
Would you come find me in a darkening storm

Then the cheerful tote of a musical note
Gives a happy feel to the mist surreal
The magical frost will soon be lost
When the warmth of the sun is born
