The Arc of Life

Awaken when the birds announce
the coming of the sun
The journeys of the long cold night
are nearly all but done
Be brightened by the glorious rays
perfecting the precious day
and take a breath
the world begins the plans for come what may

No matter what the work that’s done
the struggle illuminates the accomplishment
Make the activities you choose to do
reflect that it was time well spent
Acknowledge the past for what it has taught
and set up your tomorrow to be good
and be grateful for the things you have
and the friendliness of your neighbourhood

For all the brightness of the sun
at the apex of it’s day
there is nothing to compare the beauty
of when the orb just slipped away
For in the wake the colours stream
across the fading sky
and this is when the feelings soften
into lingering last goodbyes

The Arc of Life

A poem inspired by ALL the glorious sunrises and sunsets depicted here in the Bubble by all the artists I watch :O)
Life is as important as the moments you cherish and treasure …
Keep happy & live them all! X♥X

Enjoy! :O)

My favorite time of day Alyssa – captured just beautifully here! It’s “gathering time” at sunset and no better time to appreciate the gifts of the day!
