the world passes by without care
I’m trapped in here without a dream
as I hide in my burrow behind the green
and decay slowly into thin air

Interesting thought Alyssa – “I’m trapped in here without a dream” – very powerful line! I used to say I never dream but I’ve realized that I do – I just do it awake – lol!

This is telling everyone that I am too scared to be out there any more
and now I cant be out there – no more money or strength to go swim upstream again
and in here where I dream my best suddenly that is fading too
and all I have left is disintegration
Very dark thoughts for a very dark moment in my life last fortnight.
So again I will shout to myself Keep Happy! and plaster on my beaming smile :O) !! and eventually the happiness will return.
