~ The Rains to Come ~
Yet another bubbler art inspired piece!
Thank you my friend Gerry Mac for this image and inspiration
His capture brings sparkling beauty to the precious commodity of water
Enjoy! :o)

Live, Love, Dream: and WMGWhere has it gone the waters of yore
How deep was my volume how sweet all the more
And now there is dryness and silence on shore
As I wait for the rains to come
Who has my waters that fill me anew
I long for the downfalls but feel only a few
The life waiting with me leave as winds blew
As I wait for the rains to come
And then it will happen the seeping the surge
The banks will be whetted and life is now urged
Watch all the bird-life in my shallows will splurge
Now that the rains have come

In a planet and a country grown increasingly thirsty Alyssa, this is all the more beautiful! Gorgeous witness to an appreciation for one of our most precious commodities! Lovely poem!

the longing makes the arrival taste sweeter,
in England even in this summer we have still our share of rain and complain about it but we should thank our lucky stars, thanks for reminding us how lucky we are

another goodie, it’s funny cos you don’t think about how precious water is till you live somewhere like Oz…in the UK there’s upset when there’s the odd hosepipe ban!
Jan Stead JEMp...
another one to love and marvel at!!!
Seems you’re on a roll here ~ a theme is developing ~ opportunties opening up, possibilities to consider maybe?
Partnerships, cards…YES!!!!!
This has to happen!!!
