BIG TIME!!!! lol

What once was known as the “Daintree Daughters” is now known as Victorian Valour

and my publisher [gee that feels so good to announce :O) lol!!!] likes it! This is what he sent back to me after reading just the first volume “Bachelor”:

Wow. Bloody good story. Overall, it moves very well and keeps the reader interested. It’s a good story on it’s own and is complete, but it also leaves a lot of questions unanswered, but not frustratingly so. A well written story!

So when it’s done I hope you lot will look at obtaining a copy! lol

Writing a book is bloody easy compared to polishing it for publication – reading editing rewriting rereading forgetting to edit cos the story’s so good re reading to edit then adding then rereading (& cos YOU KNOW what’s going to happen & preempting that) adding what shouldn’t be added rereading editing rereading .... Then you finally get to the point that you are sick of it and cannot do another thing even want to chuck it in the bin & forget the whole bloody thing!!! (breathing) you hand it to the publisher & s’he passes it to their proffered editor & the whole bloody polishing thing starts again! – read the editors changes discuss reread rewrite reread resubmit reread reedit rewrite...... 6 weeks later when EVERYONE hits the wall you get it printed & hand that to the proof reader & the bloody rigmarole starts again! – reread what the proofreader has found rewrite reread reedit resubmit
and then finally print it promote it and PRAY!!!!!
- that it doesn’t come back!
- that people will read it!
- that people will buy it!
- that no one sues you!

Anyhoo I just stopped in to moderate the art in the groups I’m solely responsible to [The EEG, Australian Bush & War] and found my new good mate Brumbyy was feeling a tad under the weather so I created a list of Funny things to try and cheer him up.

Then I thought cos it’s such a blaah day here in Melbourne [not cold, not wet, not sunny, not hot, just blah!] I thought I’d post them up here for all of you
