First Cave (colour), Caves Beach, New South Wales.by Adam Pearson
There is a wonderful headland at the south end of Caves Beach here on the Central Coast of New South Wales. I have explored the first one, which lies under the headland. It has a front portal and some side entrances on the south side, shown here. There are other caves here – I am standing for this shot outside the second one and there is a at least one more. It is wise to be aware to the tides if you want to explore, and give yourself good time, because there is a lot to see here with lots of photographic opportunities.
I did a little work on this with Photoshop, not much, mainly Levels and Curves. I also de-saturated it a bit, as I thought the more “worn” colours fitted the old rocks well.
