Yellow Fungus by Eve Parry
Clear

I have no idea what fungus this is, but I’m always happy to be pointed in the right direction. Photographed in a friends bush garden, Frankland River, Cranbrook Shire, Western Australia.

I retired to Frankland River 10 years ago, after living in Perth since 1971; originally I was from Shropshire, England.
Most of my work, is done in the lower south of Western Australia, mainly Frankland, my garden, and Albany. However, I do visit my family who still live in Perth, and try to take the opportunity to photograph other places.

I don’t know either Eve. Not very up on names of fungus, but this one certainly looks very interesting. Well captured too.

  • Thank you Elaine. Even the Fungi ‘experts’ on Flickr haven’t been able to tell me.

A type of Coral Fungi….possibly in the Ramaria family. Many of the yellows change colors with age so I’m not fully positive on this one. Lovely find Eve!

  • Thank you very much Carla.
