About Eve Parry

I retired to Frankland River 10 years ago, after living in Perth since 1971; originally I was from Shropshire, England.
Most of my work, is done in the lower south of Western Australia, mainly Frankland, my garden, and Albany. However, I do visit my family who still live in Perth, and try to take the opportunity to photograph other places.

Great image, but YUK! This is an amazing shot, you should be proud of this little beauty

  • Thank you. Yes it can be pretty sickening, watching an animal, eating another animal, but I keep reminding myself that I’m no better. The only difference being that my chicken pieces don’t look like a chicken. :-)

How tremendously brave you are to get this close! Wonderful image!

  • Ha ha! This Python, who’s name if Fluffy, is an old friend. She belongs to my son. :-) (She was named by my grandson when he was very young)

  • This is my son’s pet python, so I quite like her, but I’m terrified of snakes in the wild.

Beautiful shot. How big is Fluffy?

  • Thank you. That’s a difficult question. :-) I haven’t seen her for a few months and last time I visited my son, she was still in hibernation. A guess would be about 3 feet long and about the thickness of a broom handle.
