Its great when the wattle comes out. You have captured it well.
Eve Parry
The corner of my garden where I have several wattles growing is blindingly yellow at the moment. :-)

This is a really lovely image. The Cootamundra’s and the Black Wattle are in flower around here, so spring is obviously on the way!
Eve Parry replied
Thank you. The Black Wattle flowers in my garden are not fully open yet.

Hi Bob, thank you very much for voting for my wattle, appreciated. I wouldn’t vote for my own either, even if I could.

A really lovely photo Eve, we have a 35 acre property in South Australia but during the last two horrendous hot summers we have lost many of the wattles we planted over the years since we came here 22 years ago. Of course many have died because they didn’t have a long life span but we have kept replacing them. My favourite is the Cootamundra and we had a whole row of them but again we are going to have to replace them all, and we will.
Eve Parry replied
I don’t know how I came to miss this comment Rita, please forgive the long delay in answering.
Thank you very much for your comment. We have only had our garden for 11 years and many of the wattles we planted are now splitting at ground level.
David Haworth
smashing Eve and congrats on having you image as The Bush groups cover photo!
Eve Parry replied
Thank you David. I thought it was pretty neat too.
