Rather then fearing the great white shark,
The Plar appreciates the serenity of this underwater lark.
Silver airy-fabrics swish and swirl,
Along the ocean tide while particles float and whirl.
As the Plar peers through the misty gaze,
It sees shadowy shapes blend into the crystal caves.
Everything is coated by a shimmering wet light,
The Plar reveals a torch to help its sight.
The atmosphere thickens as the Plar descends slowly,
Into the depths of the deep it drifts almost blindly.
The Plar sinks deeper discovering a lost world,
Through black and darkness the mystery unfolds.
In the black abyss the Plar cannot resist,
It pokes and prodes a translucent jellyfish.

Love your Plar characters and this poem is great — it let me get to know them a little more. Thanks!!
Glad to see this back up Adz. Has it changed at all since? I don’t remember what the whole poem was like before, though the first two lines have always left a great impression on me emphasizing the Plars sense of adventure which oversomes it’s fear. Always nice to see work from you :)
ties up a great concept nicely

This is so lovely. . . the only Plar link that works is the Plar – Peek-a-Shroom :o(
Would love to see the others.
Rhonda
Thank you so much and a very merry Christmas to you.
Ah yes, those links. I took those images down after hoping to re-draw them, you’ve actually inspired me to crack on and get them done so thank you!
I also tidied the poem up a little, it reads and flows a little nicer now. Have a wonderful day and thank you again Rhonda :-)
