Plar - A Proud Knight
Drawn in 2004. Age 17. Only with a blue biro pen.
This little chappy is called a Plar…
Beneath his fragile form and past his adorable, alluring eyes is a courageous, determined, loving little creature.
These creatures are going to star in a series of childrens books i’m working on. To see more concept art and ideas please have a little look below. There are a couple of Plar influenced poems too _

Yay! I’m so pleased you like my Plar character. I adore these little creatures and really need to get some more drawn. I’ve drawn so many over the years but usually just on scrap paper which has ended up in the bin. I won’t throw any more away though! Thanks again.

Cool creature. I have found that creating original creatures is not easy to do. This is a fine drawing. I like the textures in your drawing: the blunt sword, the cracking sheild, and the soft sooty wings.

Its so nice to see artwork for children that is sensitive and tasteful…so many kids books at the moment have really sharp and freaky faces…your artwork is so soft and tasteful….i keep thinking about Enid Blyton!!!! Hah….he illustrated in a soft manner….
