I’M SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS – I THINK WE HAVE ALL GONE THROUGH THE DEATH OF A PET AND WE WILL MOST LIKELY GO THROUGH IT AGAIN BECAUSE WE JUST CAN NOT LIVE WITH OUT A PET SHARE LIFE WITH. Anyway, I adore how honest your words are. I’ve had a few special animals in my life (mainly cats) and so I still feel somewhat connected to them in some way, if you can’t tell by my art (mostly cats).

Ah…this is very well done.

Very hard to lose a companion like Morris. Drawing him and writing and talking about him is very good. The pain never goes away, but you learn how to live with it. And nobody can replace your Morris. However, they can make their own place in your heart and bring their richness into your life, if you let them.

So sorry about your loss of this beautiful kitty, one of mine recently passed away…it’s never easy.

I so felt how you were feeling in this piece….you have captured Morris’s sleeping perfectly, from the way he puts his paws on top of each other, to how he is resting his chin. I grew up with cats from the age of 2 and always lean upon them for support…they are so wise and aware of our true feelings…they are on a higher vibration than us! Remember to call upon him whenever your feeling low ….he’s with you in spirit…..your start feeling the warmth as you all upon him.
This is such a touching piece…thank you for sharing your story.
