Go… go ahead with your own ideas… for sure they will be most intense.
I love the title.
And I can get something…
Poor Adam….thought that he had found a tree… of Good and Evil they said.
Buy in fact… it was She
The Promise….
The Giver of Life…
The keeper of the seeds…
The Blossoming …Woman.
He embraced her with lust….
and then her arms were turned into branches…
Fels ashamed for he had lost her usual concept of himself.
And started to shake the branches…
until the leaves fel.. the fruits too.
Poor Adam…
He did not know that in order to become complete…
he had just to…
bite the apple…
and submmit.
Rosa (I love it)

There is a lot that can be interpretted from this Adz. A lot of Greek myths have tales where gods/people turned into trees of flowers. Daphne willingly turned into a tree because she wanted to remain unmarried; some nympths stood by a river and could not stop mourning the death of their brother that they turned into trees; Narcissus, punished for his vanity, turned into a flower after continuosly staring at his own reflection in the river.
This reminds me a lot of a lot of Greek myths, but at the same time of the bible – taking biblical inspiration of Adam eating the forbidden fruit; but rather than being punished by having to live a labourous life of a man, this guy here, like many character in greek myths, is punished by being turned into a tree. The seeds he ate has sprouted and so he now bears the forbitten fruit he ate.

From the tale of Adam and Eve, I think you meant the applies to be forbidden fruit. This man may be obsessed and consumed by such emotion, but the emotion is so strong and uncountable, and finally he bound himself to it. Am I right? …lol… You are only 21 years old… I don’t know what to say about your perception to life….

great work!

well whatever your reasoning behind it, it cant take away the fact that it is a brilliant drawing, A bit like a b and W photo with a bit of colour in it, you have just achieved the same thing with this, brilliant work, just a simple pen sketch? i dont think so FAB :)

you know how much i love your work adz… for me this is a representation of the circle of life… the journey that never ends…... from darkness into light … a bit simplistic of me.. but i think you get from where i come from….......... peace and light….............b

very thought provoking, is this anything to do with adam and the tree of life? being a part of ‘original sin’ being bound by it? i love the fact that if this is the case, the apples are red like beacons in the black and white landscape… it made me think and i like that…...............c

Oh this made me smile! I have some pencil drawings where I have used trees like this and figures embodied, attached. Its such an interesting way to express inward feelings and outward appearance…..I’ll have to attach it in the holidays so you can see:)

Brilliant image! I love just the hint of color and expectation. On sharing your thoughts: Feel free to do so and others may feel free to weave their own interpretations into yours or allow them to stand alone. Excellent work…

This Blows my mind…..I get so much from this piece….Love the arms being the TRUNK or the begining of this beautiful Tree..which can Bloom and go through the seasons…so it is obviously GROWING…...yet YOU’re the ROOT….Holding all this….with all YOUR BEING…....even naked and bare…but refusing to let it go….....Knowing all this beauty that u are holding so close to you its a treasure to be hold and not letting it go….you feel protected because of this tree…it shelters the CORE of YOU….and this tree NEEDS you just as much…to stay alive and keep on growing…......I JUST LOVE THIS LOVE STORY!!! wow!

Thank you :-)
This started simply as a very quick pen sketch, but after a little polish it ended up looking okay. This one is on my ‘to-redraw’ list so i hope you like that too when it finally materializes :-)
Thank you again, take care and have a lovely day.

I’m sure I will! I love watching a piece transform though it’s stages of growth… it evolves with the artist that creates it! Always a fascinating process, and this is already such an evocative image for me. I look forward to it’s blossoming!

For me it’s The Tree of Life and we as people are afraid to let go of it. So afraid of what’s
to come (i.e. old age and death), as long as we clench to it with a revitalizing creams and 100
calorie snacks then we are not getting older but, just simply morphing, kinda like with your
Person we are becoming a part of the tree..Thats what I see..
Really Beautiful drawing!
