I think if the original garden of eden was found, it would look something like this. This is in fact, Millaa Millaa Falls, in the Atherton Tablelands. Just after the wet season, and still raining, everything was so lush! If you look close behind the falls, you can make out basalt columns, hinting at how this area was formed millions of years ago by volcanic activity.
