Just after a heavy shower of rain, the red rock soaks in the water, and everything glows in the filtered light!! What a brilliant part of the world. The Finke River, passing through Palm Valley.
The Finke River is thought to be one of the oldest rivers in the world, and we have it in our back yard :)
