These fantastic ariel hunters sit high up on a perch, and wait for the prey to come to it. Seldom do these birds of prey search for food by soaring around. Picking prey out from the air is one of their specialties. They also have longer than usual legs for birs, handy for chasing insects along the ground. Insects make up a large percent of their diet.
