Recently re-visited Sydney, and thought I would re-take this shot using my new 5D and 16mm lens. I was happy that tonight there was a party on at the Opera House, so the colours were amazing. Some light fast moving cloud, and a helicopter add to the drama of this shot.
This is a long exposure HDR run, using bulb so there was no breaks in the exposure blending. This is my first bulb HDR. The reason I decided to use bulb, is to get the stretch in the clouds. I also wanted to capture the helicopter flying around the area.

Canon 5D Mk II, 16mm, 16:9 crop. Available large and definately best viewed large!
Its great to see this side of the Opera house. The light and color is beautiful as is the drama and mood of the photo. Truly a wonderful capture, well worth the time and effort.
Superb work Adam. Its good to see that they brighten the place up a bit with lights because those cream tiles are really boring. Great photography and well worth all the effort.
