One of the most spectacular sunrises I have seen in a long while. We stayed the night in Hahndorf, South Australia, and got up early to check out the main township. A big German influence, and during WWI it was re-named Ambleside, to stay clear of the German name. The name changed again back to Hahndorf in the late 1930’s.
The Old Mill Hotel is just one of many of the style hotels in the town. Just 30 minute drive along the Princess Highway out of Adelaide City, this is a must see for travellers.
Hahndorf, Mount Barker, South Australia, Australia.
