Leeds Castle is a wonderful day out if your into history at all, one of the best castles I visited. there is something magical walking through hallways, built nearly 1000 years ago, and used by some of the most famous kings and queens of england.
Built in 1119, and become the royal palace for King Edward I of England and his queen, Eleanor of Castile in 1278. If your a fan of the movie “Braveheart” this castle is a must see! Edward I was known as “Longshanks” as refered to in the movie.
Shot at sunset (3:40pm) and this beautiful white swan, which are all over the gardens that surround the castle.
Just outside Maidstone, Kent, England.
Canon 5D Mk II, 35mm, 3:40pm. Available large and best viewed large!
