Driving through Bendigo, this is almost impossible to miss, the main centre spire is 87 metres high, and the building is 75 metres long!
It is the second tallest cathedral in Australia, after the St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne. The nave was completed in 1901, and the building was finally completed in 1977. Definately one of the most stunning and awe inspiring piece of architecture I have ever seen. After several hours of pleasurable photography, I finalized 2 shots, this one, and a night shot, which will come soon. I hope you enjoy!
