Farm Hands Shack
Found this little beauty in a farm in the Numinbah Valley, Queensland, Australia. Beautiful country scenery in this area, and looks to be locked in time in the early 1900’s.. I image this to be the shack of a farm hand at some stage. I doubt it’s still habitable, although the oranges just outside the door would make for good lunches!
The white in the background are clouds, the rainy day made for lots of low cloud!
Canon 50D, 60mm, 16:9 crop, 60% desaturation. I quite liked the old photo theme with this shot, hense the desaturate. Available Large, and best viewed Large!

Gorgeous scenery, Adam. Love the composition and mood… could lend itself well to a sepia treatment perhaps? ;)
Adam Gormley replied
Thanks very much Anne-Marie, I did try that, and B&W. Thought the desaturate worked better in this case, made it feel like a “coloured” old photo that you sometimes see :)
