The Sun is Always Rising, Somewhere

If you can brave the winter sunrise, and I don’t often enough, they are definately the most colourful. (Who am I kidding, I was in a T-shirt and shorts for this, it wasn’t even cold!!). This one over the Noosa River, Noosaville. Yes that is my favorite boat model, and this little duck sat there nice and still for me. I think they call them wood ducks, and he was like wood, hardly moved..

Wasn’t lucky enough to catch any of the bird life this morning, and I just missed a shot with a Whistling Kite eagle flying overhead.. Bugger!!

Wonderful sunrise, Adam, and I love the little duck looking on! That 5 am sunrise is much easier when it’s at 6.30, isn’t it? Good on you anyway, and this is fabulous.

Marvellous, Adam. I think the little chap is a Pacific Black Duck. Wood Ducks have a more goose-like appearance and (you’ve guessed it) prefer woodlands…

I love your sense of humour and the wonderful golden glow on the horizon. The optical effect of the sky is fascinating with a beautiful natural vignette. It is a lovely image Adam and a wonderful story.
