    Thanks Christie, I took over 100 frames of this guy, and 98 of them were duds.. Without a good macro lens, it’s mostly luck :)

    love this dragon fly shot! Well done – they aren’t easy to capture at all. I’m curious as to what the bokeh was?

    Hi Michelle, thanks for the wonderful comment :) I had the camera on auto when I captured this guy, was a quick reflex to get him, as I was not hunting him down. I know they don’t land for long, and I had my 18-55 standard lens on, so I flicked it to auto, and multi shot, then went trigger happy while he was landed. Seconds after this shot, he flew off, as I was rather close. Need a good macro lens to get more like this easier :)

    Never in my life have I been a fan of bugs, but you make this one look beautiful and alluring. I love the movement created by the background and wings. The crispness of what the bug is holding is also especially effective.
