Thanks Wayne. Thanks Leisa- we used to live in Brisbane & holiday at Kings Beach & we did the same thing whenever we saw Mt Tibrogargan we’d yell out “There’s King Kong Mountain” & we’d know we’d nearly be there. It used to be such a long trip or at least it seemed that way when you’re a kid.

Excellent vertical format landscape composition. You’ve managed to capture some stunning lighting conditions. The thin wispy clouds above the valley floor are just sublime and lead the eye to the mountains on the horizon. I might have been tempted to crop the sky down to the cloud layer, but its more than fine either way. Superb work, Adam; this is very, very good. Cheers! Chris

Thanks Chris. I played around with the crop quite a bit & I didn’t think it worked well without the layer of blue on top. I appreciate your comments though.

Beautiful shot – there’s not a single part of that image that isn’t fascinating for colour and texture. The sky transition is excellent, the mountains are great, the thin trail of cloud is magical, the variation in plant colour is brilliant. Really well done!

Nice shot dude….I went for a bit of a look up around the sunny a few weeks ago…Forgot how many potential headlands there is to surf and photograph….So keen to score Moffats or Wurtulla A-frames.
