This looks like it could be a still from a horror film, very moody and atmospheric. Great capture Adam

  • AdamDonnelly replied

Thanks Dave. I was a big fan of the George A. Romero “Living Dead” movies in my younger days. Not exactly original, but I had fun anyway.

What a hoot! I love this! It reminds me of a 4-H Halloween play I was in as a kid. At one point, we had to act like zombies and recite “Blood! Brains! We don’t care!” I love Halloween… it’s my favorite holiday. Love to scare the crap out of little kids.

i really do love this, sorry i didnt have time to comment earlier. but i love the way you composed it. the lighting its great and dramatic. the zombie is perfect. well done :)

  • AdamDonnelly replied

Thanks Devon. I was just playing around with some camera filters I bought from a second hand shop for $10 ( probably worth $500 new). The shot was actually taken at 3 oclock in the afternoon so the lighting wasn’t great but it was fun to be able to manipulate a scene this much completely on camera without any digital editing- also saves a lot of time. The zombie was actually my four year old son ( or Zoombie as he would say) He’s a great actor.

quite impressive to have achieved all that in camera :) Zoombie, thats so adorable!
