The title? Well, in France the old Citroen 2CV was known as the Deux Chevaux, meaning Two Horses, a reference to its somewhat less than powerful engine!
By the way, this relic was captured in the Mosel wine producing region of Germany.
Cute little car, though. In college I had a friend who drove a 500 hp Ford Comet. He lived at the top of a steep hill, and if he hit the traffic light okay, he could make it up, but if he had to stop or slow down too much, he’d have to turn in somebody’s driveway, go all the way back down the hill, get a bit of speed up, and try to make it home again. It was really funny- to me, not to him.
This car is a Rolls Canardly: She rolls down one hill and can ’ardly make it up the next. Check out these Groups: They may really like this little thing: Country Bumpkin, History, and THE PATCHWORK. All my best- Dayonda

Hehehe ;)) yes.. yes.. I remember so well these cars..they are so typical for France hehe.. and you captured this one in my area ..lol.. Tell me where… Maybe I can have a look to see if it is still there..lol.
Thanks again Meike. I just checked to see where I took this and in fact I made a mistake in the description. I thought it was near Burg Eltz, but it is actually on the Drachenfels mountain near Bonn. I took it in 2004 when we stayed with our friends, who live in Oberkassel.

ooo nice capture. I love old cars.
Thanks Cheryl. I don’t think there’s much life left in this one though!
