Hehe! It’s the remains of the egg sac with the babies clinging to it – neat, eh? Until I saw the image full size I thought it had a bit of fluff stuck to it!

Thanks Norm. And good question – I don’t know the species, just some sort of daddy-longlegs. It’s a spider rather than a harvestman because it has a web.
