The Hotel New York sits on the bank of the river Maas in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Originally it was the head office of the Holland-Amerika Lijn. Now it is a beautiful hotel. The Dutch rock singer Anouk (one of my favorites) recorded an album here several years ago that was also called “Hotel New York.”
