Village Church - Béarn France
I have no idea what the name of this little village in Béarn, France is. I was delighted by the soft evening light as it fell on the church and village that was nestled under the Pyrenees mountains. This area is one of my favourites in Europe and every time I visit I discover a new and magical vista like this one.

C’est superbe comme photo avec cette lumière magnifique… You have the knack for capturing the very essence of a place Alison…
Also, I would like to help you in finding the name of this village but I can’t recognize the place. There so many little churches like this one around here !

Thank you Corinne! Ack, I was so stupid not to use the GPS as I normally do to remember place names but I forgot for this one. All I know is it was somewhere not far from Monein. I’ll have to Ask Andrew if he remembers where we were wandering that evening.

Very nice picture with the evening sun in front and the eternal snows in the background

Thank you Gilberte! That was as much snow as I’ve ever seen in that area. Had some great skiing that season!
