Vanished Landscape
This image always makes me feel a bit nostalgic. Not only was it taken very close to my former home in Nova Scotia, Canada, but this scene also no longer exists. It was destroyed to enable a (much needed) twinned highway. Unfortunately progress and nature often can’t co-exist.
Vanished Landscape belongs to the following groups:

A beautiful photo. I love the purple coloured sky and water.
And the trees have magnificient colours.
It is a pity to hear that it doesn’t exist anymore.

Thanks Sylvia, Luckily there are still many unspoiled places like this in NS, but it’s sad to see more and more disappear.

This is exeptionally beautiful! And so sad that it has been replaced by a highway. Thankfully you preserved it in photo!
Makes me think of that Joni Mitchell song…

It is sad but I’m glad I was able to capture it before it was gone. Thanks for stopping by!
