Going Up... or Down?

Taken with a Nikon D60 in Boston. This is a staircase going between the street and one of the Green Line subway stops. It wasn’t until after I got home and uploaded it that I realized it is somewhat of an optical illusion of which direction the stairs are going… can you guess?
