Continuing with the promotional imagery and artworks for my scary upcoming book, here is the next one in the series. Inside the Core, closer to the Regal Clock, the projected ideals of the Cryptic Schematic are put in motion by the sequenced Odd Circuits. The text is in spanish this time for the sake of being exotic and because I sometimes want to write stuff in my own language, you know.

Work done completely in Photoshop and my mind. I wanted to continue the chains of circuits but even now when I have 2gb of RAM DDR2 my poor comp cries due to the huge resolution of the image and massive amount of layers (I counted over 30 layers.)

Jeebus – 30 layers! I’ve done a few fractals that combine just 2 layers and thought that I was clever.
My comp, also equipped with 2GB, almost cries when I enlarge images for upload here.

  • And apparently that’s normal… Other people count over 50 layers. Can anyone say “over-the-top”?

heh, if your comp also cries I’m starting to think Photoshop needs a serious re-vamping for hi-res images. I mean, come on, if I can render over 1k 3d objects exploding at the same time it should be able to at least move a bit bit better when I zoom in/out. I usually hide all the layers and turning on whatever I need. Speeds things up significantly.
