They thrived in the dark, feeding from the vast eternity of blackness, increasing their numbers to unforeseen proportions.

But one day they grew wings. And with the wings came the light. Huge beams and energy clouded it all and so the Void tore apart and revealed a wonderful existence calling them, bathing the eternal darkness with the warm rays of a chaotic distortions.

So the ethereal butterflies shone and flew, their eyes glowing, their wings shaking, tingling like magical mysteries.

It was time to cross the Void and face what lied beyond.
