This image was taken the same day as ‘The Old Fen Tree’ when these intense storm clouds added atmosphere to the flat desolate fields with their discarded barns.

    You have really captured the sense of desolation here. A scene that has been given up by humanity. Even nature struggles here. The barn is a reminder of better days. I love the subtle range ot tones in his image. You can’t beat black and white!
