Midnight Wish
An elegant Black and White image of a dandelion. I always used to gently blow these dandelions and make silent wishes when i was a child.

Midnight Wish belongs to the following groups:

It’s dandelion wine season here in Missouri…they’re everywhere.
I know right, being a kid and blowing these things was fun. I may go out today and do it again.
Jacqueline Baker replied
Hey thanks Von, i didn’t realize you could make wine from them but then again if you can make wine from parsnips why not dandelions? Thanks for your comment and have fun blowing some today!
Edward Huse
that is one cosmic dandelion – I miss their beauty, too many of them die before their time at the hands of the zealous guardians of lawns everywhere, lol.
Jacqueline Baker replied
LOL i agree Edward, we love them as children and hate them as adults, doesn’t seem right does it? Use em and abuse em that’s what we do…only want them for their wishes then we kill em..grossly unfair!

Oh I mean it sincerely, despite the almost silly phrasing. There is something very important about the way we approach our subjects, for example here you have managed to present the awesome presence of the stunning architecture of a simple thing from nature. Not bad for camera work, eh?
Jacqueline Baker replied
Hey sorry Edward didn’t mean to misunderstand you but i agree even weeds have a beauty which is why i chose the dandelion as my subject..anyway thanks for your comment i really appreciate it!
Elana Bailey
This is beautiful. What do you mean as a child? I still do so, as an adult. Well done.
Jacqueline Baker replied
LOL i know what you mean trouble is i tend to go for stars now as people complain about spreading the seeds on their beautifully manicured lawns lol!
Edward Huse
I get a kick out of that obsession with dandelions in lawns, recently I spied a single dandelion on a million dollar lawn and had to take a photo of it to use for an absurd blog – churchlawns.blogspot.com
