<p>Ever look at your images and think they need something just a little extra? </p>
<p>Here it is, that quick and easy little extra that takes about 10 mins!!</p>
<p>1. Open the image in photoshop and make whatever density/colour corrections and cropping that is needed.</p>
<p>2. Duplicate the layer and then go to Filter > Other> High Pass. Set the radius at approximately 100 depending on the image size.</p>
<p>Looks pretty yuck at the moment but we’re not done yet!</p>
<p>3. Now go to the blend mode and select Overlay or Soft Light depending on the effect that you are after. For the image below I used Soft Light as Overlay was too harsh. If you think that the image still has too much “pop” you can lower the opacity, but it is up to you as to what you think is looks good or how much sharpening you want.</p>
