This is a composite photo of a huge statue at the end of the main square in San Jose.
This artwork is derived from a photograph taken during a tour of Costa Rica and parts of Central and South America. I do hope you enjoy my work. Comments are graciously accepted. Favoring is greatly appreciated and will garner a response. Purchases are fantastic!
Shot taken April 14, 2010 in the city of San Jose, capital of Costa Rica. The country is bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the east and south, the Pacific Ocean to the west and south and the Caribbean Sea to the east. Costa Rica, which means “Rich Coast”, constitutionally abolished its army permanently in 1949, thus becoming militarily neutral.
