This church is at the end of the main square in San Jose and is a fine example of the Spanish colonial architecture that is prevalent here.
This artwork is derived from a photograph taken during a tour of Costa Rica and parts of Central and South America.

Shot taken April 14, 2010 in the city of San Jose, capital of Costa Rica.
The country is bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the east and south, the Pacific Ocean to the west and south and the Caribbean Sea to the east.
Costa Rica, which means “Rich Coast”, constitutionally abolished its army permanently in 1949, thus becoming militarily neutral.
