Taken Sept. 16/07 Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada.
This is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. The structure now houses a Canadian Post Office so you can mail postcards, etc postmarked from Peggy’s Cove. The area is very rugged with huge rocks forming the beach.

    Very cool to send a letter from there but I never got too close to the lighthouse itself. I was more interested in the pounding waves.
