> This is something to think about when negative people are doing their best to rain on your parade. So remember this story the next time someone who knows nothing and cares less tries to make your life miserable.

> A woman was at her hairdresser’s getting her hair styled for a trip to Rome with her husband.. She mentioned the trip to the hairdresser, who responded:
> " Rome ? Why would anyone want to go there? It’s crowded and dirty.. You’re crazy to go to Rome . So, how are you getting there?"
> “We’re taking Continental,” was the reply. “We got a great rate!”
> “Continental?” exclaimed the hairdresser.. " That’s a terrible airline. Their planes are old, the…

The Awakening

A time comes in your life when you finally get it… When in the midst of all your fears and insanity you stop dead in your tracks and somewhere the voice inside your head cries out – ENOUGH!! Enough fighting and crying or struggling to hold on. And, like a child quieting down after a blind tantrum, your sobs begin to subside, you shudder once or twice, you blink back your tears and through a mantle of wet lashes you begin to look at the world through new eyes.

This is your…

“Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens

I want to change the lives of others. To make them realise late nights and week days don’t matter – having to wake up the next day is not an excuse to lose opportunities of experiencing life – work is not an excuse to not travel the world – or travel the times. Ever ran th…

A few END-OF-THE-DAY questions for YOU!

thought you might like this guys,
been really busy so haven’t been able to play, but thought I would share this with you
have a great weekend

A few END-OF-THE-DAY questions for YOU!
by Veronica M. Hay

Did I make someone giggle, smile or laugh today?

Did I take the time to really listen to someone today, with rapt attention,
as if nothing else mattered in that precious moment but the words they spoke and the look in their eyes?

Did I allow myself to focus on all the blessings in my life today instead of contemplating the things I don’t have?

Did I take a moment to imagine what I would like to experience in my life,
if for no other reason than in the imagining, is the living, and in the living,
comes the joy and delight?

Did I let go today, let go of resentments and unforgivingne…

50% TAX BREAK FOR ART LOVERS.........................

Might be of interest to all you art lovers out there……….

There are some exciting changes to taxation law that might benefit you. If you have an ABN and a turnover under $2 million annually you can take advantage of the Government’s 50% tax break for the purchase of new artwork!

“To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.

1. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone.
8. It’s OK to get angry with The Divine. S/he can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.
12. It’s OK to let y…

Did you ever stop and wonder……………..

Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, “I think I’ll squeeze these pink dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?”

Who was the first person to say, “See that chicken there…I’m gonna eat the next thing that comes outta it’s bum.”

Why do toasters always have a setting so high that could burn the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being could eat?

Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?

If the professor on Gilligan’s Island can make a radio out of coconut, why can’t he fix a hole in a boat?

Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but don’t point to their bum when they ask where th…
