This is a simple little photo of a bike stand near my work. I once shot it in digital so it had a heart shape with the shadow.
This is a beautifully rich Black and White LOMO Shot of the same item, but on a shady day. I used my Holga N120 and it was shot on Neopan Across 100.
It has so much feel and tonal range, I forgot how much film can bring out in a picture.

beauty in the mundane. lovely work :)
Hi Natalie…. I’m so glad you like it.
The depth of field and vignetting from the Holga just seem to make it pop. I also think using Film and not Digital give it more a timeless feel, almost like an Eggleston photo.
Hi Nathan! I saw your post on FB so thought I would come browse. I love this piece. The definition is sublime, and I really like the shadowy feel this has. Nicely done.
Super contrast and tones! James
Thanks SO MUCH James…. And thanks to everyone that has taken a look..
