Here’s my ignorance – Don’t understand the ‘monkey’ term.
It’s a Japanese temple thing. This temple seems to be dedicated to monkeys somehow. I’m not completely sure about this and why, but they’ve made these little dolls in some sort of commemoration for monkeys. I don’t get it myself.
