Its just gone 2 in the morning
And the world has closed its eyes
There’s no one left to watch over me
Except for the stars in the sky.
I walked up to the bridge again
Fighting back my tears
My screams get louder and louder
But still nobody hears.
To them im just a number
A file locked up somewhere
A record of mistrust and self abuse
That cant continue for another year.
I think about the ones who gave me
The childhood I never had
Water fights, whipped cream and music
Standing in the rain with our tabs.
Taking photos of rainbows
Talking about mermaids in the sea
Crystals, meditation and angels
Imagining just being free.
You put your arm round my shoulder
You listened and understood
You walked me through the shadows
You did everything you could.
You never failed to amaze me
An angel on the ground
I treasure those happy moments
And thank you for being around.
Its just gone 2 in the morning
But ive found a safer place to stay
No more tears and sadness
Swimming with mermaids everyday.

so touching, so full of resignation and utter despair…for some, it gets better, but i guess for some they can’t stand it long enough to wait around and see…so sad.
