You’ve seen Sally Mann’s works?
Deborah Parkin:
Thanks Mitch for the link .. I do know Sally Mann’s work. I came across her when being interviewed for the photography I was doing .. I showed the lecturer my work and he said “you have clearly been influenced by Sally Mann”, I had never heard of her … which was a bit embarrassing. However, saying that I do love her work and took it as a compliment. I went to see her exhibition last year .. loved a lot of it but not all of it. Her family work is phenomenal and so is her collodion work but I am not too comfortable with her work on dead and decaying people .. but that’s ok :) Anyway, thanks again Mitch.
