Very impressive. I love this beautiful window, the light that comes through and the silhouette of the cross. The environment is harsh. The architecture is so big and almost intimidating and treathening. The three people look vulnarable in this harsh environment. And, yeah, you are right, to survive in a dangerous environment, like planet earth, we have to be devoted to eachother. Love and devotion. Great piece of art, Deborah.

The composition is perfect and although the architecture is old and appears cold, the love and tenderness in the image is far more powerful. Beautiful image from you once again :o)

This really is a magical shot Deb and I too thought it was a self portrait.. but even still its wonderful to see that devotion between the kids and their aunt. It brings such a nice feeling to this shot, which in essence is quite dark.. As usual, a brilliant piece well processed, full of great detail and capturing wonderful emotion.

Stunning, daring treatment & statement. love that black in the ceiling and the light on both sides of the column’s shadow – that’s what I think I mean by daring treatment – you consistently and subversively redefine reality in your images, make it your own and make it work – I guess that’s what style is. You don’t need my opinions about religion, organized and otherwise, but we all always bring our personal prejudices to the table when viewing an image, and for me the composition, direction you three are looking, the title & punchline “to each other” speak about a beautiful set of priorities.
