  • Stuart Chapman

    Stuart Chapman

I love the stark contrasts between the light and dark / foreground and background combo Deb. The upwards looking to something out of shot adds some mystery too. Just lovely

  • Deborah Parkin replied

Thanks Stuart .. I had a light leak in the camera which I think was actually beneficial to some of the pics in the end .. thought I would allow a grown up in the pic too.

  • Simon Gladwin

    Simon Gladwin

Lovely tones as usual Debs! What are they looking at? Such intrigue…..I reckon Abe is avoiding the camera….he knows the 50mm prime cant get him at the top of the tree!

  • Deborah Parkin replied

Thanks Simon .. I have no idea what was so fascinating but that is what I love about kids – it might take 6x as long to go for a walk but at least you don’t steam past things and miss out .. I think when you see the other pics you will find out that there was still no escape for Abe haha!!

  • Rosemary Scott

    Rosemary Scott

Your tones are sublime as always, but what I love most is that they’re looking at something we can’t see….. this has pondering the fascinations of a childhood mind…..

  • Deborah Parkin replied

Thanks Rosemary for your lovely comment – I really appreciate it – I am totally fascinated with the child’s mind – something we can only just grasp once we have stepped into the adult mind.

  • Michael Oubridge

    Michael Oubridge

Fabulous capture Deb, looks like Geoff and Fleur are mesmerised by the sheer size of the wellingtonia trees, they are amazing. Of course they might be looking at Abe hiding up there :)
